Mike O'Brien is on the road almost every day, testing product or just staying fit. Originally from Tacoma, Washington,
he has been building frames since 1981. In his spare time he skis, snowboards, backpacks and works on
his kitchen. Also a trained network administrator, apprentice winemaker and avid LINUX-head.
Andy Luhn is a former US Ski Team member and current Cat. II roadie originally from Ketchum,
Idaho. He now lives in Kent, Washington and will gladly sell you a house if you're in the market. Give him a call
at 253.850.1237, he may even take you out to look at houses on bikes . . .
When Melissa Kydd puts the hammer down, the hard men listen - especially when the mileage goes
into triple digits. A "core" commuter and randonnée rider from Woodinville, Washington, Melissa
makes her living as a health care professional.
Greg Louie , of Lake Forest Park, Washington, can be found on the Burke Gilman Trail almost any day
of the week, often in the wee hours of the night. Longtime art director for O'Brien Cycles, he has
designed many sets of decals beginning with the classic "Extra" on through the current
"RNA" and "DNA" series.
Tom "Broz" Broznowski, a former pro cyclist (Schwinn, GS Mengoni) and US Road National
Champion, is a longtime O'Brien supporter and design consultant. He lives in Bellevue, Washington with his wife
Lori and two small children and commutes to work on his bike. Tom's home-brewed "Broznerbrau"
ranks with the best of the NW micros after a hard ride.
Tim Petrick, of Normandy Park, Washington, is a strong "sport commuter" with a penchant for
constant attacks - he's the national sales manager for ski company "X" on Vashon Island.
Norm Mayall, of Bend, Oregon, writes advertising copy for ski and bike companies and has two mid-sized
offspring. Usually off the front whenever the road turns upward. Likes to mix it up with the usual assortment of
pro road and triathlon folks at the Bend noon rides.
Russell Stevenson, a former pro road cyclist for the Prime Alliance and HealthNet teams, recently relocated to Portland, Oregon.
He currently races for the Benaroya Research Institute Cycling Team, and enjoys skate skiing and snowboarding in the off-season.
